ugh, too much to do

my mom is visiting me this coming weekend. memorial day weekend.
we are going to be going to yellowstone! so excited.
i havent seen my mom (or my dad, or sister) since christmas. i cant believe it has been that long.
i am very excited.
now i only have to:
  1. clean out my car
  2. clean my room
  3. clean the bathroom
  4. clean the kitchen
  5. clean the living room
  6. buy groceries for the trip
  7. hope and pray my breaks are in good condition
  8. start training for hiking everywhere
  9. hope and pray the weather is good
  10. hope and pray a bear doesnt attack me
  11. or a moose
  12. or a buffalo
  13. or any other big game
  14. write down a list of topics my mom may not ask me about: includes money, various recreational activities, money, my job, money, and my shopping habits
  15. pack

looks like i have a busy week ahead of me.

oh and i have a baseball game on wednesday with the co-rec league. did i mention i havent played baseball since i was about 10? this is going to be fun.

Valentine's Day....because, February

I have really uninteresting opinions about this specific holiday. I like it and hate it all at once. It's very confusing. Valentine's Day pros: Chocolate everything. I'm not a huge chocolate person, but if you want to feed me chocolate covered raisins/peanut butter/strawberries/bread, I probably will put it in my mouth. It's on a Wednesday this year. Hump day. Beautiful. I get to buy cheesy valentines for my friends and family. It's not like I can find WWE related stationary at Walgreens all year round. I have to take advantage while I can.  Gives you a reason to get a skanky hotel room with a hot tub in it. Never did that, but it sounds awesome.  I like making a big deal about dumb stuff...especially if it gives me a reason to drink prosecco with frozen berries in it.  Valentine's Day cons: For some reason, I am convinced I will receive an enormous edible arrangement. This has yet to happen. I'm not sure I even want it to, but there you go.

an uncomfortable clothing choice

For some unknown reason, Jorts have been the topic of many conversations lately. Jorts = Jean shorts. [GUEST NOTE: "Jorts” – a combination of the words “jean” and “shorts” – are used to describe the somewhat hideous attire often sported by NASCAR aficionados, Green Bay Packer fans, men over 40, and men who probably ought to be over 40. If you wear jorts, you probably have minimal relationships with women.
