typical wyo weekend


I went to a susie boggus concert. it was in dayton. dayton is a really small town north of sheridan. it was a ton of fun. i went with michelle and josh.

the next morning, i went to tongue river canyon with michelle. we went hiking. it was gorgeous. and a ton of fun.

michelle took all these pics. i stole them from her.

but they are gorgeous.

just enjoying another typical wyoming weekend.

poor kids are the best kids

I seriously love co-authoring. I do. It rocks. Today, I’m rocking this post with Carrie (bio below). We talk most everyday. About whatever. Recently we have been talking about being poor. I am currently incredibly poor. And have been for the past year. I also grew up slightly poor. We weren’t living in a cardboard box or anything, but we were poor enough that we thought garage saleing in the summer was back to school shopping. Co-author: I grew up in a cardboard box. Or something very similar. Double-wide trailer, ie two single wide trailers of different lengths pieced together by my father, which had no insulation and only one fire place to heat the entire place. Garage saleing to us was top-of-the-line. We were more accustomed to the land-fill version of school shopping. I like to think of my childhood and family as "resourceful" as opposed to "poor". an uncomfortable clothing choice

For some unknown reason, Jorts have been the topic of many conversations lately. Jorts = Jean shorts. [GUEST NOTE: "Jorts” – a combination of the words “jean” and “shorts” – are used to describe the somewhat hideous attire often sported by NASCAR aficionados, Green Bay Packer fans, men over 40, and men who probably ought to be over 40. If you wear jorts, you probably have minimal relationships with women.
