I got it

Image
I can check this off my bucket list now. I have won a dance off. I have rhythm..... I have skills..... It's no surprise I won. I started by staring down the competition. He was sitting right next to me, so it was easy to do. Intimidation is number one rule to winning. Make them know you are going to win. Then I dropped it like it was hott.....very hott. Added a little bit of my awesome skills to the mix. Then killed it with my robot. I KILLED IT ......I don't need to let anyone know I won due to forfeit. Winning is winning. Here is a little video that is amazing....I think you all will enjoy it.

Had a Little Too Much Fun

Image
We went to David's Bridal on Saturday with Christina and Michelle. Michelle had to buy a bridesmaid dress. Chrisitina and I had nothing better to do. So we tried on veils. I think we had too much fun. I was really embracing my girly-ness. Won't be doing this for awhile.....ever again.....maybe. okokokokokok

I got a call from my dad last night. My dad usually calls me a couple times a week. I missed the call. Which is not unusual. I usually miss calls. I never hear my phone. My phone is only with me between the hours of 8am-4pm. If you call me after 4 I most likely will not answer. Not because I don't like you, but I just forget where I put my phone. Anyway, I missed my dad's call last night. Instead of doing my usual thing, which is to call the person back without checking my voicemail, I actually listened to my voicemail. It was highly unusual. But I did it because it was late and my parent's live in a different time zone. I am happy I listened to the voicemail because if I hadn't I would have missed out on this. This is my big brother. On TV. Looking ultra cool. Ultra. He went with his friends to RAW. Yes, that is WWE RAW. I actually enjoyed watching it. I think that should go on my list of weird things I like. Thank you Joe, I now like WWE wrestling.

Minor Issues

I am 100% aware that I have issues. Sometimes I try to make them sound cool "I read like 50 books a month...so what?" "Discovery Channel shark week had taken up my entire netflix queue, yours isn't the same?" "So what if I can't cook. I can still love Martha Stewart's and Pioneer Woman's cookbooks" "Yes my favorite music is top 40 hits by such artists as Justin Beiber, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, and Lil Wayne...in no particular order" "You aren't on facebook all day?" But this one is just weird. While watching the new "Life" show on Discovery last night (they had like 432 encores...watched a few of those too) they had a commercial for the new season for Deadliest Catch. I cried. Yes I cried. I cried at a commercial. For a TV show about fishermen. I have some severe issues. The bad thing is is that I saw the commercial about 5 times last night. I cried everytime I saw it. UGH The season starts on April 1

Sorry Mom

So I have moved... I used to live here. Out in the country. All by my lonesome. In a nice little garage apartment. It was a slightly awkward situation. Now I live here. It is in town. Really in town. Like I can walk places. My roommate makes me. She took me on a 2 hour walk around town on Tuesday. Fricken 2 hours. I got a blister from that. I hate blisters. Anyway, This is me. putting all my stuff away in my new living arrangements. I'm not this big of a slob...well. I try not to be My mom might disagree. Sorry mom. You did teach me to be cleaner. Be happy that this is how I chose to rebel. Disorder...

My St. Patty's Day Tomorrow

My entire life (or since I was 13) I have always wanted to be irish on St. Patty's Day. I am not irish...I am english/dutch/german/mix of junk...but none of that junk is irish. It sucks. Irish people get to have a whole day dedicated to themselves and their heritage. Their heritage of drinking. Heavily. There is a tulip festival in Holland, MI that celebrates dutch people. And their love of dancing in wooden clogs. It's a family event. No drinking is involved. You get to look at thousands of tulips though. I have no idea what english people have. Shakespeare? Harry Potter? The King James Version Bible? I also wish I was italian. I love their food. And their clothes...from afar. I can't afford their fashions. I look italian, that counts right? My dad looks like he could be apart of the italian mafia. No lie. So back to St. Patty's Day this year. I will have to just settle for being one of those cheesy non-irish folks that wear the "I'm not Irish, but you can kis

I will dominate this

Ok. If you know my family at all, and you know how I fit into my family, you know that I def. do NOT have the most athletic ability. I believe I may be the low (wo)man on the 'athletic' totum pole. I'm not too upset by that, I don't necessarily have the necessary competitive bone needed. I mostly just participate in sports for two reasons. 1. My mom forces me to. Well at least in highschool she did....what a cruel woman. ha. 2. I only choose sports that are fun. So that pretty much eliminates running, sprinting, rock climbing, curling, gymnastics, snowboarding, skiing, and anything that requires one ounce of balance. I love tennis, swimming, anything on the water, biking, and anything that doesn't require one ounce of balance. Thus bringing me to my point. I tried a new sport last night. It is racquetball and it is awesome. Because I am self-deluded, I always think I am going to be perfect at any sport I try. I initially thought I was going to kick some major racqut

Discovery

I have discovered another 'favorite thing ever' It's called pandora I love it a little bit. It helps me get through work. It's an internet radio site. Just type in a song or artist and it will make a radio station for you. My favorite station right now is my Citizen Cope one. I love Citizen Cope. I was obsessed with him in highschool, and now have just rediscovered him. Another discovery that I have made that is completely awesome is the braided 'headband' thingy. I have been doing a braided headband for a few years now but it is totally awesome. Whenever I don't want to wash my hair (which is about every other day bc I am lazy) I just do that braid thing-ma-do. Everyone thinks it's awesome. Little do they know my hair is greasy. My last 'best thing in the world' recent discovery is the mini notebook/calendar. Yes, this is a late-in-life discovery for me. I should have learned to utilize my planner in middle/highschool But I didn't. Now when

Embarrassing stories from the Andrea vault

My life if just one embarrassing story after another. Usually it doesn't seem embarrassing to me at the time, but looking back my whole life has been pretty embarrassing so far. I luckily have been born with no shame...I don't know if I should thank my mom or my dad for that. Maybe I'll just thank both of them. One of my favorite embarrassing stories is when I was in 3rd grade (or maybe it was 4th grade?). Halfway through my elementary school career I switched school because we had moved. I vividly remember seeing "hott young thang" for the first time on the playground. I will be calling this young man HYT because I would actually be pretty embarrassed if anyone who read this actually knew this kid and revealed this story to him. Yes, even years later I am still slightly mortified by my immature antics. Anyway, I developed a very swift and acute crush on HYT. I actually thought I would marry this kid...I was in love. It was far beyond the time I kissed little Paul

I'm old

I think I have passed the prime of my life. I know that it is a sad thing to say, and hopefully wrong, but I still feel that way. There are some clues that this may be the case Clue 1: I have gone to bed at 8:30-9ish every night this week. And have actually fallen asleep. I am not supposed to be able to do that, but I can Clue 2: I pretty much would rather eat soup than any other food. Well other than peanut butter but I am not so sure you can consider peanut butter a food. Clue 3: Some of my friends have retirement plans. That doesn't mean that I have a retirement plan, but I still think it is weird that some of my friends have those. I plan on being irresponsible for as long as I can. Clue 4: Staying in and watching a movie sounds funner to me than going out....but only sometimes. Clue 5: I consider scrabble one of my hobbies, and reading...and word searches Clue 6: It takes me forever to wake up in the morning. I used to be a morning person, but I think that is all relative. I s
